Chris Alves, ATC, Rehab Aide - (Scituate)
Chris comes to us from the Northeast Corner of Connecticut after spending 4 years working as an athletic trainer at the high school level. He graduated from Merrimack College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and is currently continuing his education working on a Master degree in Sport Management. He joins Peak Physical Therapy as the Athletic Trainer for the Scituate High School Sailors as well as a rehab aide in the Scituate Clinic. As an avid athlete he remains active in various recreational sport leagues. Chris enjoys his time off skiing and skating in the winter and being out on the water in the summer as well as hitting the links.
Al Blaisdell, PTA, ATC, Director of Athletic Partnership Program, Clinic Manager- (Hanover)
Al graduated from Northeastern University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and from Newbury College in 1993 with an Associates degree. He has been employed as a certified athletic trainer at Hingham High School for the last 26 years and has been working as a PTA for 25 years. He has treated hundreds of patients throughout the south shore with a focus on sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. Al lives in Hanover and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
Julia Cross, PT, DPT, ATC- (Norwell)
Julia earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University in 2018 and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree from Bridgewater State University in 2015. Her clinical interests include working with and treating the geriatric population and athletes of all ages and skill levels. During her free time, she enjoys watching and rooting for Boston sports teams, hiking with her dog, reading a good book, running, and spending time at her family summer place in Maine. *AQUATIC SPECIALIST*
Meghan Hesketh, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC - (Hanover)
Meghan graduated from Sacred Heart University with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2017 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Meghan’s clinical interests include evaluating and treating a variety of orthopedic and sport musculoskeletal injuries and return to play protocols. Meghan specifically has experience as an ATC and PT with baseball athletes from high school aged to professional athletes. During her free time, she enjoys participating in Boston recreational sports leagues, visiting Cape Cod with her family, and taking her dog on hikes.
Jacqueline Keating, PT, DPT, ATC - (Pembroke)
Jackie Keating, PT, DPT is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. At Colby-Sawyer, Jackie was also a 4-year member of the Women’s Volleyball team. She then went on to complete her post-graduate studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. While attending Colby-Sawyer, Jackie worked with a variety of athletic programs within New Hampshire, including collegiate men’s and women’s basketball, collegiate women’s and men’s lacrosse, and Kearsarge Regional High School. During her time at MCPHS, she gained valuable experiences working in a variety of settings including multiple outpatient clinics and an acute care hospital. During these clinical experiences, she was able to work with a variety of patient backgrounds of all ages; including patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and developmental pathologies. Jackie was introduced to the field of physical therapy after suffering an injury of her own while playing volleyball her Sophomore year of high school. Jackie enjoyed her time at physical therapy so much, that she returned to the clinic as a Clinic Aide. She continued to shadow at various outpatient clinics and at South Shore Hospital to gain more experience in the field prior to starting her undergraduate studies. Jackie discovered quickly that she enjoyed working with the athletic population which sparked her interest in pursuing a degree in Athletic Training. With concussion injuries being a hot topic in athletics, Jackie has grown an interest in treating those with post-concussion symptoms and vestibular conditions. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), she is motivated and dedicated to providing the best care to each of her patients while utilizing the best available treatment approaches. Being a South Shore native, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her friends and playing indoor and outdoor volleyball still at a competitive level. During the winter season, she also coaches for an elite volleyball program.
