Al graduated from Northeastern University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and from Newbury College in 1993 with an Associates degree. He has been employed as a certified athletic trainer at Hingham High School for the last 26 years and has been working as a PTA for 25 years. He has treated hundreds of patients throughout the south shore with a focus on sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. Al lives in Hanover and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
