Matthew H.

PT
,
Director of Education and Mentorship, Clinic Manager

Since graduating Physical Therapy school in 1996 from Northeastern University, Matt has spent his career using his knowledge base, sense of humor, and compassion to help thousands of patients reach their goals and return to their active lives after injury. He has combined his experiences from many different practice settings and continuing education courses to help patients learn about their injury and to get back to their previous activities. Matt uses an eclectic approach to patient care using treatments and philosophies from many different areas to treat each individual to their specific needs and to reach their goals. He does not believe all Physical Therapy is created equal or in a one size fits all approach and that is why he has partnered with Peak Therapy and their patient center approach to care. He utilizes a combination of caring, manual treatments and exercises to help each individual patient achieve their goals. Matt has also used his love of physical therapy and sports to help many athletes by volunteering at the Boston Marathon and half Marathon, the Pan-Mass Challenge, and the Bay State Games, among others over the years. Matt's spare time is spent with his very active twins, wife, and dog exploring the outdoors. He and his family spend as much time outside as possible, whether it be grilling or kayaking, or just exploring New England. He can even be found on the side lines of his son's soccer games or watching his daughter grow as a horseback rider. Matt's twins are 14 years olds and are now in High School and when not watching them grow with their activities he loves to walk his dog, take pictures, and cook with his wife.
