What to Expect

Physical therapy for men’s health begins with a thorough evaluation to identify the source of the problem. Your therapist will develop an individual treatment plan that may include manual treatments, behavioral modification, nutrition, education and ongoing exercise to ensure the optimum results.

For patients with pelvic dysfunction an assessment of the pelvic floor muscles may be appropriate.  This assessment will be performed by a physical therapist with specific training and knowledge of the pelvic floor musculature and determined on a case-by-case basis with patient consent.
