Bio
Rebecca Wolongevicz, MS, OTR/L, CHT is a Certified Hand Therapist and Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping patients restore function and return to the activities they love. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England and achieved her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2010.
Rebecca specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, including treatment of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions. Her expertise includes post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis and osteoarthritis management, custom splint fabrication, and upper extremity orthotic intervention. She is also skilled in designing game- and practice-approved splints that help athletes safely return to participation following injury.
A member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), Rebecca has contributed to the profession as a published author, serving as a contributor to Orthotic Intervention for the Hand and Upper Extremity: Splinting Principles and Process, Second Edition. Her chapter focuses on the clinical application and modification of prefabricated orthoses to optimize patient outcomes.
Rebecca is passionate about helping patients regain independence, function, and confidence through personalized, evidence-based care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, three rescue dogs, and cat. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves camping, snowmobiling, and making memories with her family.
